Elrod Ferry Recreation Area
Elrod Ferry is located off of US Hwy 29 in Hart County, Georgia, approximately 2.5 miles north of the city of Hartwell and approximately 3 miles from the Hartwell Dam and the Georgia/South Carolina state line.

Hart State Park
Hart State Park is located three miles north of Hartwell off U.S. 29. The park has 76 tent and trailer sites as well as two cottages on its 147 acres. The park hours are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and the office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. There is a $2 park pass fee. For information regarding events, call 706-376-8756.

Lake Hartwell State Park
Located in Oconee County on the shores of Lake Hartwell is this beautiful state park. Offering year around fishing, boating, swimming, picnicking, as well as excellently maintained walking and hiking trails this state park is a place you must visit to enjoy the wildlife and beautiful scenery.

Richard B. Russell Lake
